CitiPower Powercor Junior Landcare “Powerful Partnerships” Grants Program NOW CLOSED

The CitiPower Powercor Junior Landcare “Powerful Partnerships” Grants Program has been specifically developed to encourage environmental partnerships between schools and Landcare groups across the CitiPower and Powercor distribution areas of inner Melbourne and central and western Victoria.
The CitiPower Powercor Junior Landcare “Powerful Partnerships” Grants Program encourages the development of partnerships between schools and Landcare groups within the CitiPower and Powercor distribution areas to undertake local environmental initiatives and activities.
Primary or secondary schools and Landcare groups in the CitiPower and Powercor electricity network areas are eligible to apply for one of 10 grants of up to $2,000 (ex GST) to partner in an environmental project.
For example a primary school may partner with their local Landcare group to undertake a planting day to revegetate a degraded area of the school or, a Landcare group may partner with a local secondary school to improve the biodiversity of an area of interest to the Landcare group.

Who can enter?
Primary and secondary schools within the CitiPower and Powercor distribution areas (see area maps). To confirm that your school or group is within CitiPower and Powercor distribution areas you can use this tool http://www.powercor.com.au/Postcode_Network_Locator/.
- Landcare, Coastcare and environmental groups (e.g. ‘Friends of’ groups) within CitiPower and Powercor distribution areas that work in partnership with a local school.
- All grants awarded will go to the lead school or partnering Landcare or environmental group.
- Grant applications to be submitted to grants@landcareaustralia.com.au
