Newman’s Own Foundation Junior Landcare Garden Reconstruction Grant

Has your school or youth group experienced loss or damage to their school’s student garden in recent floods or cyclones? If so, it is likely that you are eligible to apply for the Newman’s Own Foundation Junior Landcare Garden Reconstruction Grant of up to $1,100 (incl GST).These grants are specifically aimed at helping the reconstruction of gardens damaged by the floods in recent years.

Activities supported include: Repairing damage to Bush Tucker gardens, Vegetable gardens, Sensory gardens, Composting and green waste recycling activities along with awareness raising of food miles through growing your own produce, water wise and carbon gardening activities and to purchase of kids gardening equipment (gloves, shovels etc) up to the value of $500.

The next round closes on Friday 1st June 2012.
