Our Partners

Junior Landcare Partners

If there is any one defining feature of Landcare it is partnerships. They have been the key to the movements strength and its success. Landcare partnerships range from individuals such as farmers and landholders, to neighbourhood groups, regional networks, business, schools, industry and local, state and federal governments.

Partnership offers opportunities for collaborative learning and encourages joint decision making, giving the community greater say in what is important and what needs to be done.

Australia’s environmental future depends on how landholders, community members, industry and governments share ownership and responsibility for natural resource management.

Corporate Partners

The Landcare movement’s ability to continue to develop and respond to Australia’s changing environmental needs relies on support from Landcare Australia’s corporate partners.

Collectively our corporate partners on average contribute over $10 million in funding for environmental projects annually.

We value the many ways our corporate partners support us including in-kind provision of equipment or resources, donation of staff time in the form of volunteering, workplace giving initiatives and funding for on ground projects.

Projects span the entire gamut of ecological issues with examples including public education and awareness raising campaigns, grants for schools, marine wildlife rescue and protection, revegetation, sustainable farming and climate change adaptation.
